Local Activities

Things to Do

When you come to North ledaig Caravan Park you can be as active or as relaxed as you like while you are here which means this is the perfect location for your stay.  If you wish to be active, the National Cycle Network 78 runs through the middle of the park or you can launch off the beach and canoe to the islands (or tackle the Falls of Lora!), climb the Munros or hill walk, the choice is yours!

When you want to pull yourself away from the idyllic surrounds of North Ledaig Caravan Park you will find plenty of places to visit in and around the local area, from taking a trip to Cruachan visitors centre, visiting Oban Distillery and McCaigs Tower, trying one of many indoor sports activities at Atlantis Leisure or taking a stroll around one of many idyllic local gardens.

Oban even boasts its very own Chocolate Factory where you can choose from a number of handmade chocolates with unique flavours or even enjoy a hot chocolate in the cafe.

After all that should you feel a little on the peckish side you will find a large number of great cafes and restaurants to choose from in and around the area from the famous Ee-usk seafood restaurant to the world's best fish & chip shop or should you fancy Italian food why not try Piazza on Oban's North Pier, or why not have a pint of local beer with your meal at Cuan Mor.

Alternatively, you could add to the enjoyment of your stay by taking the small ferry over to the Island of Kerrera in Oban Bay and enjoy a lovely meal at the Waypoint Grill with plenty of seafood on offer. A unique dining experience.

If it's watching sunsets over Oban bay while enjoying a glass of wine why not visit Coasters bar situated on Oban's scenic esplanade?
